Power up with AI
Overview
SetWise includes AI-powered tools that help you save time.
Right now, the main AI feature is Import Plan - paste a workout plan from anywhere and convert it into a structured program with templates (days).
When to use AI
- You already have a plan written in notes / a document
- You got a plan from a coach
- You want to move a plan into SetWise quickly without manual setup
Requirements
AI features require an internet connection.
Import Plan (Parser)
Import Plan lets you paste a workout plan and instantly convert it into a Program with Days (Templates).

1) Paste your plan
- Open Workout Import on Programs tab
- Paste your plan into the text field
- Tap Analyze
Larger plans may take up to a minute.

2) Preview what will be created
After parsing, you’ll see a preview of the final result:
- Program name (editable)
- Total Days, Exercises, and Sets
- A full breakdown per day (template)


3) Confidence score (%)
Each exercise shows a confidence %:
- Higher % = SetWise is more confident it interpreted the line correctly
- Lower % = quickly double-check the exercise name and set targets

4) Edit before saving
You can adjust the imported result directly in the preview:
Edit targets via chips
Tap a chip to edit values, for example:
- rep range
- tempo
- intensifier



Adjust sets
- Remove a set (✕)
- Add a new set (Add Set)

Add exercise instructions (optional)
Use Instructions to store cues or setup notes for that exercise.

5) Save templates
When you’re happy with the preview:
- Confirm the Program name
- Tap Save templates
Your program and days (templates) will be created and ready to start.

Tips for best results
- Keep each exercise on its own line
- Include sets and rep ranges clearly (e.g.
3 x 8–10) - If you use notes like “drop set”, include them on the same line — you can verify in preview
Note: Import works best with clearly formatted plans. If the preview looks significantly off even though your plan is written clearly, please contact support - it helps us improve the parser.
